Kyrgyzstan (KG) Bishkek and Chüy Province

Image: The Burana Tower, constructed in the 11th century AD, is all that is left of the ancient city of Balasagun, which is 3 km E of Don-Aryk in Chüy district. The height of the remaining tower is 25 meters, but the original height is believed to be almost twice that.
