Uzbekistan (UZ) Farg’ona Province

Summary
Farg’ona/Marg’ilon is a major city with a population of 700 000. So’x, an exclave surrounded by Kyrgyzstan, was probably reported as part of O’zbekiston region (160 777) and Furqat and Beshariq districts were reported as Kirovskiy region (158 905) . The 1989 census population of Farg’ona Province was 2 153 547.
